Shirinou Residential Town | Asaluyeh | 2004

Shirino is a region adjacent to Asaluyeh, the petrochemical hub of southern Iran. It was planned and developed as a residential town for housing engineers and staff of the petrochemical industry. The project covers 53 hectares and includes 700 one- and two-story housing units, along with public service buildings. Note: Due to changes in employer policy, the project underwent several redesigns. Initially meant for engineers, after the frame was built, it was repurposed for temporary accommodation of factory workers. It was later readapted for engineers again. The project was managed by Mr. Abolghasem Kaveh and I collaborated as the technical consultant.
