Based on urban and environmental criteria, feasibility studies and design proposals have been developed for three major areas:
An administrative-commercial center spanning 41 hectares along the city’s central axis
An urban garden covering 125 hectares in the northern lands
A city park spanning 120 hectares
The master plan includes comprehensive urban and environmental analyses, as well as preliminary strategies to attract private-sector participation and investment. The architectural and site designs emphasize harmony with the city's natural assets—such as the surrounding mountains, flowing streams that converge in the city center, and expansive green spaces and gardens.
Once implemented, the city center will evolve into a “garden-street” that culminates in a new urban campus extending toward the adjacent hills. In this way, Pouladshahr will be connected through a lush, stream-lined green corridor to a dynamic, nature-integrated urban landscape—becoming one of the rare cities where commerce, leisure, and daily life unfold in seamless dialogue with nature.
* In Section 8 (The Sustainable Development Approach), additional data from this plan are presented.
