This project covers the design of the Modarres Highway corridor, stretching 2.7 kilometers from the Resalat Highway interchange to Shahid Haghani Highway. The design connects previously fragmented and isolated spaces along the highway, creating a continuous visual and spatial link between the landscape of Taleghani Park and the highway corridor. To reduce costs, enhance safety, and simplify construction, this project marks the first implementation of the reinforced earth system in this context. For the first time in urban highway infrastructure, a reinforced earth system was applied in the form of wave-shaped modular boxes with brick-faced retaining walls.
